1. Overview

Wombox offers a digital mailbox service to travelers and WHV holders in Australia. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services

  • Receive mail at a stable Australian mailing address.
  • Scans of received mail are uploaded to your dashboard.
  • Scans are only guaranteed if your WMBX-ID is included on the envelope.
  • Free users can unlock scans individually by payment.
  • Premium users enjoy unlimited scan access.
  • Physical mail storage: 14 days for premium, 7 days for free accounts.
  • Optional forwarding service with additional fee.

3. Subscriptions & Fees

  • Premium plans available monthly or annually.
  • Free plan includes restricted access with pay-per-scan option.
  • Mail forwarding incurs AusPost rates + handling fees.
  • Additional fees apply for extended mail storage after the retention period.

4. User Data

  • Collected data includes full name, email, and uploaded identity documents (e.g. visa, passport).
  • Scanned mail content and activity logs are stored securely.
  • Data is retained only as long as needed for service and legal compliance.
  • Wombox does not sell or share personal data unless legally required.

5. Legal Mail & Compliance

  • Users are solely responsible for the legality of their received content. Wombox refuses illegal or suspicious items.
  • All mail is received under the name and address of Wombox. Users agree not to represent the Wombox address as their personal or legal mailing address.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for lost, delayed, or damaged mail once dispatched. Wombox takes reasonable steps to secure your data and documents.

7. Modifications

Terms may change at any time. Users will be notified via email for significant changes. Continued use implies acceptance.

8. Prohibited Use

The Wombox service must not be used for illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes. Accounts found to be in violation may be suspended or terminated, and reported to authorities if necessary.

8.5. Identification Requirement

To ensure proper delivery and upload of your scanned mail, users must clearly indicate their WMBX-ID (e.g., WMBX-1234) on all correspondence. In the absence of a valid WMBX-ID, Wombox cannot guarantee that your mail will be correctly attributed or uploaded. Mail without identification may be delayed, rejected, or discarded without compensation.
